I've done a little riding and racing myself.
I've done just about every kind there is. Did a few MX nationals on both 2 and 4 wheels, but XC is where I spend most of my time. I raced the GNCC series up till 2 years ago when I couldn't afford the fuel and the body just couldn't seem to take the beating anymore, ran A class for 5 races then moved up to the Pro-am, fineshed the year there then ran Pro for the next three years, hit a couple of Baja races (couple 500s and 1 1,000)with a few friends I met along the way placed top five in all of them, done many 6hr and a couple 12hr races in the woods. Raced a few national flat track events when I had time off from the GNCCs, and even made a trip or two up north for some kickass ice racing during the winter months. Even bought a Banshee and built a drag bike to play with at the drag strip at the dunes...
We've even been known to go out and tear it up once in a while on the side x sides.
I met a lot of people from a lot of places accross the country and even got a few youngsters started to take over for me when I retired, which have instead followed me into the hobby of diesels instead. One's even a member here now.
Here is my last baby that I sold to a friend to get out of the racing part. After I sold it I still went out and bought another one (The KFX450) because I was going nuts not being able to ride. I raced it a couple of times with some friends just for old times sake, but the same friend now owns four of my old bikes. I think he just likes flaunting them in front of me now.
All in all they've been some of the best times of my life so far...
