When you select Tech2 option it has you use tool to download info to tech2 then connect to the Computer to download the calibration file to the Tech2.
This is the way that i am trying to do it, request info from vehicle, bring tech 2 to laptop, only has the ecm option
Pass through allows you to flash through the tech 2 directly to the Vehicle.
I did not try this method to see what modules are available
This Cracked version does not work as good as the last one I had. Last version I think the tech 2 option worked. This one does not communicate with the tool properly and I haven not been able to figure that out yet. Wish I had copied the Hard drive before it failed... it also had the cracked Alldata that worked but it was missing some of the files.
I might spend more money on the Panasonic Laptop that claims windows 7 operating system. I might be able to use a mongoose cable so I don't have to drag the tech2 around.
I will check the pass through option and see what it will let me do.
as for your comm issue with the tech 2 itself(assuming you're using a usb to serial adapter) what adapter are you using?
I was getting a "E665: The communication could not be established with the diagnostic tool! Please ensure proper connection!"
I was getting this cause i was using a cheap "prolific" adapter, bought a better one suggested to me on the "gmtnation" forum and it worked when using the different adapter
Interesting. I am using the OEM Factory adapter. I get the same error but I think its either a driver or a com issue. Same when I tried to set up the Mongoose cable
What is this other adaptor your using?
lol nice. I have the same thing, bought it off ebay, this is the description.....
Dell Latitude D630 14.1" Windows XP Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz 2GB RAM 320GB HDD Serial
mine is also 100% dedicated to the tis2 and tech2
Was the seller master technican out of wyoming?
no, i think it was just some guy his id was benzg42
Yup the VCX Nano works good too.
Just have to buy from a reputable seller like the Tech2 clones.
