wow this thread is awesomely old:spit:
That's what I thought, so old Larry Jewell posted only a page or two back lol. But hey I'll play along again.
MAKE : Fendt
Model : 930 Vario
4X4 OR 4X2 : RWD with selectable front wheel assist (off/on/auto). Front and Rear axle lockers with auto mode.
ENGINE : Tier 4i Duetz TCD2010 7.8L with SCR. RPM's and power controlled by TMS which talks to transmission to increase power and RPM's when needed, then decrease to save fuel when not. RPM's are completely independent of ground speed.
TRANS : Fendt ML260 CVT. 100% stepless. Joystick control speeds up/slows down, can be used to shuttle directions, activates cruise controls, and adjusts accelleration. Tractor can also be driven in pedal mode just like a car, pulling back on stick will slow transmission to make exhaust brake more effective at high revs.
EXHAUST : Stock with air operated butterfly exhaust brake
STEERING : Reactive steering (changes ratio with speed), Also has Auto steer
SUSPENSION : Independent self leveling front suspension w/12" travel. Stability control system for higher speed road corners. 3 point air ride cab suspension, active air ride seat with climate control. Comfort buddy seat.
WHEELS : Red
1,000lbs of weight in each rear wheel.
TIRES : Rear-IF800/70R38, Front-IF620/75R30, Michelin Axiobib's.
Brakes : Dual circuit air over hydraulic wet disc brakes with ABS. Hydraulic and air brake hookups for trailers as well.
HP : 305 @ Crank
TQ : 1,235 @ Crank
BEST 1/4 MILE: Um, it tops out at 33mph but gets there quick and smooth. Outside of NA they do just under 40mph.
Mileage : just rolled over 1,000hrs last week.
Other Factory Stuff: Lots of HID lights, projector driving lights, power TOW MIRRORS
, suicide knob, comfort ride front 3pt hitch with 4,000lb weight, double acting front and rear 3pt hitches (tractor also has a service mode than uses both hitches to lift it entirely off the ground), Auto climate control with over pressurization, heated rear window with wiper and washer, sun shades. GPS system for auto steering, and recording field work along with other automated functions. Accurate to 6" with the free satellites. Variotronic TeachIn headland management system. Records your entire headland sequence so you only have to push one button, it does the rest. Every Fendt comes with an immobilizer system as well. The keys are all cut the same, but have unique transponders. It's quite the process to get a new one if you loose the two they give you and its not cheap. About $500 per key IIRC.
OTHER MODS: Whelen LED strobes on mirrors and wide markers, all windows tinted 35%, Kenwood eXcelon x798 radio with bluetooth , Euro plate for looks
FUTURE MODS: Kickass component stereo system with subs behind seat. Might paint the grilles silverish and swap on the stainless exhaust shield to dress it up like the beauty package models are from factory.
Suspension let all the way down. You can manually extend it all the way up or let it all the way down by pushing the buttons in the cab. You can also lock it at a set position, but it will automatically engage over 12mph.
Now that's how you build a tie-rod lol. GM take notes. No sleeves needed here.
What it would look like with the beauty trim.
