I saw a thread similar to this on DF. If that one's yours also do you really live at 6500' elevation?

Ya it probably is mine i made a thread on there and on here, wasn't sure which of the sites I would get more responses on so I made it on both sites lol. But yes where I live the elevation is at 6000-6700. we are a ways up here I know lol, believe it or not we already have snow on the peaks of our mountains, it snowed a bit in town as well but didn't stick.

366s are damn good chargers. Problem is to many people throw to much fuel at them without gating them or watching drive pressure. I'd run a 366 over a 466 any day of the week. Only thing I suggest is doing the upgraded bearing. The 369 is looking pretty bad ass also. I have a 476 single and am hating it more and more.
why are you hating the 467?

Glad you got a sense of humor. Most people get butt hurt lol Go 83 for now.

haha im bit of a joker myself, I like to dish it out every once in a while lol.

I would run compounds and mild tuning / stock fuel until you get teal brave. 366/480 is a great compound setup awesome for towing. I also live in Wyo and had these on my Lmm. I ran it on stock fuel for awhile and then got brave. Installed 80 overs and max effort tuning stock cp3. Got 777hp out of it. Then had an idiot attack and pulled the compounds,injectors&cp3 and went back together with a fleece Cheetah single exergy 45% overs and an exergy 10mm stroker cp3. Truck still ran good but not as good. Driveability and towing were nowhere near the compound setup. Egts were waaaay high on max effort tuning. Eventually she started hazing smoke @ idle. Injector balance was showing cylinder #4 having issues. I knew it had been beat on and wasnt ready for a built motor so I bought a used motor with 40k and stuffed it in. I still to this day have not torn down my original to inspect it. I will do this hopefully this winter and post results. Most likely will be building it to handle 4 digit power. Good luck to you and sorry for the book I just wrote lol.

Big singles and altitude are a bad combination.

What if you were to add a diverter valve? BD diesel has one on their website I was looking at, but for $730 I don't think that might be worth it. Just sounded convincing is why I was checking it out.

I've finally got my s475 ruining how I like it. Took me some time tuning to make it happy but got it. I'm running a plan 75/83/1.0 no billet or anything special. If you like to put your foot in it a lot on the highway I wouldn't recommend a big single. I'd go with twin setup vgt in the valley or if you go fixed I wouldn't go bigger than a 72. But everyone has different opinions on spool up and drivability.

Katie has a 591 over a 64.5. Go look at her build thread to see it running.
