what is the hp limit on a stock lb7 crank

Well I am in the middle of a full build and the goal is 800hp and I am thinking with everything I have already done to this thing do i need to just go on and call guy and put a crank in it and be done with it all or what

Well i am doing fingers piston ,duel MP3 ,Carl push rods con rods,fleece s366 arp main head studs Carl springs and porting the heads

1hp les than what you had when it broke:D

It's a crapshoot, good luck:hug: failure isn't all that common, although it does happen, it's happened at all different power levels at all different load demands. I think that has been the conundrum, there has been no constant, no similarity other than breaking near the #1 journal, that seems to be a pretty common failure point, but, it's happened to guys with the cruise set on the highway, hell, it's happened to stock trucks with less than 50k miles....

thanks for all the input guys I just got off the phone with guy at socal and I think we are going to leave it stock and do everything we can do to keep it from breaking and go with it thank for the help

I wouldnt buy any type of crank cure, maybe a different fire order cam depending on price! Situation is to little of a risk to spend a ton of money on, but to big of a price for such a little risk.
