Quick question, what exactly do you do for a living I see your always making random stuff? A machinest? It's just different I suppose to me. Usually a machinest does a specific thing.

Yessir one month home a year. Jobs pretty easy I'm the senior machinist have a guy under me in the machine shop and 9 welders that are Indian "dot not feather".

Have 2 2.5 axis conversational CNC machines 2 Bridgeport clones and 3 manual Lathes.

Worked on a camera last week that was the only one in the world and was on loan to the military can see you with enough detail to run facial recognition from 35 miles away.. It's amazing what 2.5 million will get you now a days
Nvm Corbin was wondering the same thing couple pages back. Very interesting job! Something different everyday.

Took the 6/4-6/12 off.. DOT blitz is this week as well.. got a big ol list that needs some chunks taken out of it. Everything from paperwork, shop Cleaning, maintenance on my DD, little thinks that could be better on the dually, pull front dif, finish up 4wd wheel stubs blanks, start atriping the 06lbz that was graciously given to me.
Plus CDL medical exam..brake fluid flush, power steering system flush.. I'm sure I'm missing stuff

The new big boss doesn't like the sound of papers ruffling over the conference phone so I had to make a little getup to elevate the phone system off the table and my boss has a hard on for punisher skulls so I came up with this..

Been welding on these fingers made from AR400 plate we had cut out with a waterjet that go on a robot. The ole waterjet is neat, here is a piece of aluminum he did for us a while back before we machined it. It's a pretty good finish for 6" thick!

Need some caveman engineering on the vice stand, wheels... Brother-in-law finally had some time to weld the plates to attach wheels on my 20 year old stand. Not pretty but does what I need to do and moves out the way easily. I could spend a few dollars and buy a couple cans of paint, maybe...

That's nice! Seen you post it couple time.. drill press arbor? Press, HYD press, 210amp welder, oxy/acetone torch. Bigger air compressor are all on the list..
