Just an update, Alex (my mechanic) got back into the shop today, were finishing up a backlog of installs this week and then removing the motor on Monday. Already talked to the machinest and as long as the block is spared, we will hone all 8 cylinders, line bore the crank and balance the rotating assembly. Going to do rods, pistons and ARP studs for now, then when the bank account fills back up, 2cp3's and turbo(s).

Will have pictures nest week of the motor pull, and damage...

Got in my truck tonight to go home about 10 minutes ago and she sounded a little rough, stepped on the throttle and nothing but white smoke and a bad shake. P0303 was the code so I am suspecting cracked piston.

Problem is, my brother just dropped it off from having it today because I was working on his truck at the shop...It was bound to happen, I just expected it to be when I was driving it. Oh well, guess it's time for a build.

Sorry about your luck man, what is it with these 06 LBZ's???? is it just me or do the 07's take the power upgrades a lot better? lots of 06's are falling over right now.....

Possible the 06's just have had a little more time on the road and the extra time for the abuse. I hate to see all the mishaps and I hope that the 07's dont follow suit.
