After you had the rear adapter plate on and cast oil pan did you install the bolts from inside the pan to the adapter before installing the lower black oil pan.

Towed Tommy's truck to Mike L's today since another leak spouted last night. Luckily Mike happened to have the tranny cooler line in stock:D, we swapped it out quick. Thanks Mike:hug:

Still have the engine oil leak though.

Just looked it up the oil pumps were Leftys in 01's -08's nothing has changed.

Would a discontinued part be listed?

we are on our way to take a look at the leak.

If it's the return pipe like i as well as others are thinking.... tommy is getting a different turbo !!!!! Come on tommy, it's only money, it'll grow back !

DO IT:D

Or fix the return line or rerought it

Keep in mind there are two lengths for the drain pipe: LB7 (short), LLY+ (long). There is only a 1/2" difference, and only by side by side comparision can you tell. You CAN force an LB7 to fit an LLY, and vice versa, but almost always it will leak. Maybe not the day you install, but it will.

Aftermarket LB7-based chargers (A5000, HTT, BD, etc) will require an LB7 (short) distance even if put on a LLY+

i am over joyed to have the opportunity to work on your truck !

reaching my hand on top of the bellhousing i can feel oil. I will clean it all off and throw some dye in there and go from there.....

That trans line was a huge leak so i'm glad thats fixed and we can get this oil leak fixed and you back on the road again !

If i take the turbo off and you don't have a larger one to put in it's place i'm gonna be upset ! :D :D :D

PPE is right down the street..... :hello:
