I didn't think your went bad, just wondering how the lly reluctor wheel got mounted to yours?

His was removed since it spun and bent or broke the pin don't remember. His crank was also keyed at the same time. When it was reassembled the wheel got mixed up with another

Oh, sorry, I didn't know his got damaged, easy mistake indeed. Glad you guys found the problem, and are getting it taken care of. That thing is gonna be badass when it's done. Good job, it takes balls to do it and you guy's got some bigguns. The machine work that Guy did looks flawless, can't wait to hear it run. :driving:

So lesson for the day boys and girls LB7-LLY = gold reluctor wheel 57 teeth

LBZ -LMM = silver reluctor wheel 58 teeth

Someone with a green lettered screen name should almost start a stickied thread for important quick notes of other peoples accidental findings like this. Lord knows this won't be the last time this happens!!

Glad to hear you got it figured Tommy!!
Question is, how did you find it?

Thats a good idea dale. process of alimination and then i pulled the crank sensor out today thinking tht may of went bad. just for shits and giggles i counted the teeth on the reluctor and counted 57. counted again 57 counted again 57 and saw the color gold  compared it to a lbz and counted 58 teeth on tht. one and saw it was silver. confirmed it with old pics and pics from other builds on here. tht those lbz where the same. the funny thing is gm spec has not updated there tec sheets still shows 57 teeth up to 08 wich is wrong. so hopefully if all goes well this should fix the issue and we should be good to go. well I hope :D
