Thanks Russ.

Yeah, I mean I could see a spare bolt here or there, but over half my valve cover bolts either stripped or wrong bolt, fuel return lines wernt even tightened with a proper allen head, missing engine mount bolts, bellhousing and trans mount bolts, im surprised it didn't rattle apart a lot sooner... :roflmao:

Loaded up the Colorado and off to the machine shop tomorrow and going to go look at a set of low mileage heads.

I think this guy worked on some trucks before me too. I did one set of injectors that had all of the wiring nuts just sitting on the injectors and the hold down bolts for the harnesses were unthreaded quite a ways.

You too cool to be my buddy on FB:hug:. Ima block you biotch.:woott:

Other than the difference in retainers, Josh, is there anything different about them compared to Hamilton's? Hamilton's are single spring and SoCal's are dual's like the beehives right?

Thought curtis had the Beehives and Socals were Duals. Or were curtis's not Hamiltons.? I'm speaking 2009/2010 talk here, that was my time of pricing motor builds.

Quoting yourself is like giving yourself a high 5 or liking your own facebook status... :spit::rofl:

I was trying to have a convo with myself through meme's an didn't want to loose my place. Its all good now though. Turned out nicely.

Well, starting to order all the O-rings, gaskets and extra shenanigans that I will need to assemble the short block... I can find pretty much everything on All Season , Merchants site and Henry's.

The machine shop that is resurfacing my heads and doing a complete valve job disassembled my oil cooler assembly to clean and hot tank it, I cannot find this O-ring that seals those two half's.... any ideas on where to look? I thought I read while back that GM doesn't sell that O-ring and you gotta buy a new cooler, but not really sure..

Should have searched harder, guess that O ring isn't available from GM..

I have a spare LBZ oil cooler in my garage, are they interchangeable?
