You don't really need a new copper just sand it down on a flat surface is all i ever did. No the hold downs were still tight:thumb:

What's a good tool to fish out the old copper? Mine didn't come out with the injector. Also how did you clean the bottom seat area, or did you even bother?

Well its the number 4 and the brake resivour is keeping me from having a real good look. Nothing that I saw came out with the stick. But seeing what I can I don't think its in the head still. All I can see down there is shinny aluminum. I stuck a file down there and twisted to try and catch whatever was there like a spud wrench kinda and AFAIK all I was grabbing was the head itself. Those coppers fit pretty tight on the nozzle, hate to say it but it looks like I must of forgotten to put one on that injector, as I don't see those things just falling off the injector under truck somewhere when I pulled it. :( its back together now though with hopefully just one copper.

That is a loose injector/copper washer on bottom. On my old LLY i had this EXACT same thing happen a couple times. Im sure if you look close enough you will see smoke puffing out around the injectors. All i did was pull the injector sand the copper washer and slap a new oring on it and good to go:thumb:

I think it happened again :( what did you tighten yours to? I think I'm gonna try and get a torque wrench on it today. All I did was get it pretty snug with a normal length box end wrench.

Torque spec is 22 ft-lbs I believe. You should be able to find it in the GM Specs area.

I tightened it up and it was working. But I just blew one in the #7 cylinder. This one didn't come out with the copper either.... So leads me to believe my #4 now has 2 coppers in it. Is that gonna hurt the spray pattern hitting in the bowl bad? Should try and pull one out??? This one is stuck at the bottom too. This makes 2 blown, and I had to retighten the first one I did earlier today. I'm putting my other tune on again, till I can figure out this is now happening.
