Hard to find good gyms Matt, good luck.

Well, they offer $5 day passes, which is great for me, since I would only be there 3-4 times a month.

That being said....

What the wide wide world of sports is this???

Slowly getting there guys. 5’11” and currently around 160lbs. 100-150g of protein a day, creatine monohydrate, preworkout, and some BCAA’s. Probably gonna try some of that clear muscle soon. Yesterday was chest day. 4x5 heavy at 135lbs bench then a 30 rep burnout at 65lbs. Then incline 4x5 at 95lbs and a 30 rep burnout at 45lbs (I have a baby chest) today was arm day. The Rock has a killer routine that gets results. Too much to type out but heavy weight and higher reps back to back almost.

You seem to be going backwards Zakk from your avatar pic and congrats on the bleaching, it's really working:cool2:

Just busting your balls, looking good. Keep at it, best programing is the one you'll stick with.

:rofl:after posting I realized my pics were similar lol was hoping someone would point it out. Thanks bud. I’m trying to stay focused and motivated. My workout partner is one of my best friends so he helps keep motivation up and pushes me.

Had a real small local meet today.. Which was the crossfit total. Back squat, strict press, deadlifts. Had four minutes for each lift to find your one rep max! I hit 525 back squat, 215 strict press, and 565 deadlifts!! Weighed in at 213 today, I was in the 200 to 225 weight class. Wasn’t super happy with my dead’s I missed a 580.

Sadly my squatting and deadlifting days are on hold until my back comes around, if ever...

My bench is still moving up, hitting 275 for multiple sets of 10 with ease now. Time to bump the weight up and start over.

Awesome on the 275 for 10. I lived there for a while,315 will be there before you know it. That opens the door for the 400 plus max!

So, another weekend at the weird new gym and realized how incredibly hard it is to squat sans mirrors.

That, and the place has no bench setups.:confused:

I joint PF...dont judge. I go at night usually around 7:30 with another manager I work with. He is a retired Green Beret and an absolutely massive man. So I just try and not die but these are all functional style workouts but not crossfit. Plan I buying a power rack and other stuff from him to put in my basement so I can squat, bench, dead. Either I'm getting fat, which is possible or im adding weight as I'm up but need to check it for a week in the am to get a solid average if what I'm at but tonight I was at 190 and I've never been that high. Am disappointed at myself seeing that number.

Brock don't be so hard on yourself. Muscle weighs more then fat.. I'm 39 yrs old and I am in pretty darn good shape. Pretty much on a push up and sit up, and planking routine. As of know I'm 6'4" and 235lbs and these young guns dont know shit

That’s my kind of work out.

How many and how often. Earlier this year I was doing 40+ at a time but can’t do that now. Arthritis got my left shoulder and along with some tendon issues related to psoriasis.

Yep, eat and workout however you can or want to and don’t worry about that scale. Make small adjustments to your diet as you go. Main thing is to enjoy your training and food, gotta have balance.
