I have dropped 500 pound deadlifts in the past... I don’t anymore. The gym I train at now has 4 deadlift platforms that absorb most of it.

My biggest gym pet peeve is pulling weights off my rack while I’m using it, with out asking. For some reason it drives me nuts:rofl:

Up to running 4 miles a day comfortably. Now getting into the GYm hard. I go morning and nights! I want to be around 210. I'm 6'1 at 230. But pudggy. Trying to slim down and trim far.

Squats, up to a 365 triple. Bench was a 255 triple and then a few sets of curls/headcrushers mixed with decline ab sets.

Retro finally got new bars and they somehow managed to buy rogue bars with no center knurling. Da faq.

Ah well, Monday is over :thumb:

Wanted to dead lift but wouldn't you know all 4 platforms were being used.
Used the Nautilis deadlift machine:eek: hit 495 for triple. then did a bunch of drop sets.

Shit you guys don’t want to go to a Crossfit gym.

I was doing push press tonight at 115 and dropping from overhead. Eff it it’s made for it.

Granted bumper weights are different.

Reps I don’t drop, final rep I drop. Also can’t tell you the last time I pulled anything worth mentioning off the floor. So there’s that

5 am in the gym. Stretched, walked for 2 mins, ran incline for 10 mins, walked inclined for 3 for cool down.

Worked with pulley machines today.

Did curls 40-50-60, reps 12-10-8
Lat pull 100-110-120 reps "
Tricep pull down 30-40-45, reps 15-10-7

Now to work!

Y’all over here doing these crazy amount of weight haha I’m tickled to death that as skinny as I am (5’11” 150lbs) I could dead lift 200lbs last night

We're pretty much the same weight. I stopped DL at 375. It was just too damn heavy for my skinny self. I quit with the heavy stuff and focus on volume and body weight exercises now. Guys like us dont have the frames to support heavy lifting. Good luck with your journey and dont get caught up comparing yourself to dudes that have 50-75 more pounds on you.

Squat, worked to a 5x365. Went pretty easy and smooth, which was surprising after a shitty day.
Bench, worked to a 255x5. Last rep was not pretty but it moved.

Slowly getting back, once I get 405 on squat for a few weeks I may switch to a volume program to ruin my CNS :D

God good to read on here, been a while. Been I the gym solid still. Actually down to 245 but hitting the same weights. Just killed some deads 6x5s of 455 and 405 for 8 at the end that almost made me pass out lol. Good to u guys still killing it.

Push ups with my 8 year old sitting on my back, 3 sets. 3 sets with the 6yr old on my back. Did some planking and a few set of pull ups hanging off the 2x2 vertical slats on the deck.

God good to read on here, been a while. Been I the gym solid still. Actually down to 245 but hitting the same weights. Just killed some deads 6x5s of 455 and 405 for 8 at the end that almost made me pass out lol. Good to u guys still killing it.

I get paid to work out doing heavy construction, so anything else is extra for me

People wonder how I can go in and do a sorry warm-up them kill it. It's because I'm climbing over jigs and throwing around big steel tubes all day I'm warm when I get there. Weekend workouts are a different story.

I actually did run a few times to drop weight to fit into my big and tall shirt I had to buy for a wedding. Was doing consistent low to high 7 minute miles. Wanted to die, gonna try to bulk in the 240s body weight instead of 260. I look better lol
