Not sure what you mean Chris? Your already strong... I suspect your diet is whats stalling your strength progress, I know you have issues with food. Gotta figure out ways to get more calories:thumb:

Sorry, that wasn't very clear. I'm looking for a good core workout. I thought a few exercises that really target the abs/obliques might help me creep toward that 405. I've been working my lower back as well. Basically ironing out some weak spots.
I hear ya on calories. I walked 5 miles yesterday between work and doing things around my house. It's so hard with a high metabolic rate and high activity levels.

UPC 220lb Raw.

MINERIGGER, I have a buddy who almost broke the state record bench @245lb Raw, Fitcon. The SlingShot by Mark and pause reps is what he says will get anyones bench up.
Well that's good because I own one of those slingshot devices from Mark Bell. Need to run his 6 week bench program.

Yes sir they do.

Im on Candito's program right now, I love it!

Hmm, 198 might be a bit of a stretch for me. I'm a svelte 217... Well maybe not svelte:rofl: Doesn't matter much, get smoked in the 198's or bump up and get smoked in the 220's:thumb:

Candito is solid, I ran it for a long time.

Thinking candito for lower and then mark bell for upper body with some slingshot work. Did 170 the other day like mentioned and didn't think it moved well. Low back fatigue may have been a contributing factor but 170x6 poopy. So today I went to 145x8 for 4 sets...these moved great. I up downed all 4 sets no issues whatsoever and the groin/hip felt good. Just stretching and rolling up a storm and feeling good again.

Oh and the good lord took care of us and the car is getting fixed as a goodwill so nobody is out anything. Had some high up nissan people for the area rather shocked. They were super helpful.

Anyways carry on with the gain trains....woot woot!

I've been back steady for the past 6 months and got a new personal best for bench Friday. Did 315 for 8 and then 370 for one. The 370 went up decent but I stopped there for now rather then risk hurting myself. Hoping for 405 by fall.

Yinz are bench monsters! I gotta step my game up and hit that 225 this summer.

I did 175x3 with no spot and was excited.

That has to be super difficult with the thicker bar!

Did some 170x6 for 4 sets...I gotta get these hip flexors figured out. Everytime I get into the hole and come out its like having someone dig on a knot, I'm quickly becoming over this
