Well boys, it's been a while since I logged on to our little corner of the internet... Since last time I've put 30,000 miles on the truck (314k at current), and PR'd all 3 lifts without getting fat.:D

Hit 405 squat for the first time ever 2 weeks ago. BW: 178lbs.

What do yinz guys recommend for pre/post workout. I'm trying to avoid any protein and stick with mostly BCAAs. I was looking at the ON AmiNO Energy, BCAA caps and glutamine powder. I'm getting back on the creatine also.

I use amino energy by ON and I like it.

I use STIM by black market labs for my preworkout and then 2 scoops of amino energy close to midway so I don’t gas out.

Been sick as hell lately so haven’t gotten into gym much since before Xmas so my gains are lost but hoping to be recovered by Monday and start back at it.

Hour long class at Cyclebar this morning, 23 miles, 1400 calories gone. Pr my 45 min average power and beat my hour powr by a bunch.

Deadlifted a little the other day for the first time in many months. Just a light 225x3sx5r felt okish. I’m sticking at 225 for a month or so, feel out my back with that.

Watched Jesse pull 585x15 a couple weeks ago, un f-ing real the strength that guy has:thumb:

Serious work, brother. What are you working towards recently? Sounds like way more metabolic conditioning work than in the past.

405 bench and a strict 225 overhead press. Maybe single digit bf% and sit at 200 pounds. Can’t really squat or deadlift with my back so just working the things I can:thumb:

I backed off on squats, bone spurt in my foot, sucks. 2nd one in 10 years, however a side benefit my whole body feels better, weird. But i dont sit at a desk all day so im on my feet all the time. I just got 225 on overhead press, you will get it. Just crank up reps like a mofo on leg day

Picked this up today from a coworker for only 1k.

Power rack, dbl adjustable bench, weight stand, bar, 4x45# bumpers, 2x35# bumpers, 2x25# bumpers, 2x15# bumpers, 2x10# bumpers.

Sold the old setup in an hr for $100. Might have got more but o well. Paid $230, I think, 15 years ago or so. Not bad I suppose.

Need to build a base so I’m not squatting and pulling off the squishy carpet. IMG_0188.jpgIMG_0189.jpg

150x6r
170x3r

Worked up to 200x1

Been doing light squats and deads, lots of stretching, and as much indoor cycling as I can take. Time to start pushing the bench again.

P*ssy's must of quit lifting:poke:

Right shoulder is tweaked a little from to much over head,"Sigh lol"

Been hitting lots of cycle bar, and stretching for an hour straight once a week at Stretch Lab.

Still benching semi heavy ish hit 330 the other night after a full work out. Been doing way more BB stuff and very light deads and squatting only if Im feeling better. Doing my best to let things heal and strengthen my core.

Lat pull downs at 275 for a set of 6 pretty ugly but they went:D besides they feel good and stretch my back out.

Skull crushers 80lbs, barbell curls worked up to 115 for a 3.

115 farmers carries, 5 40 yard carries and one single arm round, that lights up the obliques:thumb:

Beat the shit out of a tire inbetween carries with a 15 pound sledge 10 per arm.

BW is 206 when I got home from the gym this afternoon. Bw is down, power is down a tick but want to lean out some.

Well starting to make some progress after being back in the gym for about 5 months after 10 years off. About 75 pounds off my personal best of 375 on the bench. Now that I’m 52, its a bit harder to get it back. Doing a kind of pyramid workout on bench. Working up in 10 pound increments and then back down.

Had knee surgery so taking it easy on the leg presses.

I too, need to lean up a bit. At 223 now and need to be around 205-210.

Copy that, I turned 44 this month, gains are way harder to come by naturally the older I get:mad:
