Congratz. I haven't been married a year, so I don't have any advice that I think I can give except don't change. Just cause you have a ring doesn't mean she won't leave. I have seen many marriages fall apart over the idea that being married means you don't have to work at it.
Congrats! Hopefully you two have been together long enough to know each other and you have lots of things you both like to do. You will be better off if you both enjoy doing the same things. Worked for me 
Yeah we have been together for 4 years but we grow up together.

Congrats man! Nov. 5th makes 1yr. for me ,5years total of being together.Trust is key!And not being up each others butts all the time also! Best of luck to the both of you.:thumb::woott:

That's ours too. I'll never forget it. She starts being nice about a month before. Niceness increases as Nov 5 gets closer. Watch out on the 6th. 11 years this year.

My only problem with marriage today is how the gays have ruined the meaning and reasons for the unity in the eyes of the lord. I'll tolerate but won't except as I'm not to judge. Good luck

Congrats. Communication and respect for each other are key. Have fun and laugh together. Couples dont always see eye-to-eye, remember that. The most important two words you have to remember are, "Yes, dear." LOL

Make sure that she is your best friend and you are hers. Not only love each other but like each other. NEVER EVER fight over money. Money can / will ruin a marriage, figure out how you guys want to take care of bills together. Communicate, a lot, think you communicate enough? Well do it more and more, and that's still not enough. Don't go in with the idea that you will both contribute 50% each to the relationship, both of you have to contribute 100% and you will appreciate the other more when you go the route. I'm sure there is plenty more, but that should get you started. I won;t say good luck cause if you need it something is wrong, so congratulations!!!!
Best friends is great advice. My wife has been my best friend for 33 years now and always on my side no matter if I am wrong. Congrats to you and your wife.
