Well, if nothing else besides doing a waterpump, I think you get the award for "largest picture posted on DD".

How many miles on your truck? bummer man :(

??

81k........:D

Here's the warranty deal...

The truck will be down for 2-3 days if I take it to the dealer... Thats a little too long for me to be without wheels.

And thats even if they will do it tuned with no DPF....

we can do it in the garage in 4-6 hours but Id have to buy a pump :(

Any thoughts

You can drive to Chino and I'll get you out in about 2 hrs! Did you happen to look at the turbo coolant hose or the o-rings at the bi-pass tube? Dont worry about the Dex-cool it doesn't cause problems like it use too......

Ouch.... shitty Mike. That motor doesnt have more than like 10 or 15k on it since you rebuilt right?

Oops.... nevermind LOL.

You must have a legit dealer out there.

How many miles on the 2nd motor mike?

This motor has 16k less than the odometer, which is at 81k. So 65k on the motor.

I haven't really looked closely at it. Figured it was for sure water pump. There is some coolant at the back plate by trans bell housing, but not sure if the wind is spraying it there or not....

I might take you up on that offer if it can be done. I need to visit cali again soon...:thumb:

You could always put the stock tune back in and hollow out your dpf and slide it over your front pipe and take it in...

couple things....Putting the stock tune back in does nothing, they will still see it was tuned. I also have a 5" exhaust. Also no DPF to put on and no way to hollow one out really. Ill do the WP myself before I try any of that stuff lol.

Also If a dealer says they cant do it because I tuned my truck, so be it, I have no issue with that, I knew that before I modded my truck 2 years ago. If there is a dealer that will, then Im happy, Im not going to lie to them and develop some bad relationship with a dealer here over a water pump.

I know the desert gmc dealers main tech that did my injectors was a dmax owner and was pretty cool about my situation. If he is still there I'm not sure but it might be worth a try. I will look for a name on my paperwork.
