Built motor lb7 60 overs and modded pump currently making 850hp with 66/83 wanting to switch up the turbo/turbo's
So what big single would make around the same power and not be a laggy pig? Was also thinking of pulling the t3 gated ii366 out and dropping a t4 366 non gated would it be very noticeable? Or perhaps dropping a s369 in, anybody possibly been down the same road and wanna give me some insight??

Go to Duramax tuners youtube page, they tuned a built lb7 with twins and they talk about how great that setup is. Might give you some ideas.

You have a drive pressure gauge? T-4 66 would probably lower drive pressure some but probably wouldn’t net a ton more power. That sxe 369 t-4 with a 1.0 housing and that 83 would be fun, need some bigger sticks to take full advantage though.

Leaning more towards a 69 in the valley. Really want some insight on the 83/69 set up before pulling the trigger

what do you consider laggy? everyones opinion is different.

the sxe369 will spool very close to the box stock s366. a normal 369 will not.

a big single that will spool as fast as what you have now and make 850hp aint happening in a fixed vane without lots more fuel and high drive pressures (basically a sxe369 or 72 driven very hard with fuel, will be a smokey pig on fuel)

you are really running out of fuel with the setup you have. it can be driven harder and make more power.

Ive kinda thrown the big single out the window.
Probably going 369sxe. Truck smokes like a train up top still.
Injectors might be bigger then 60 overs. I just dont want to go from a 66 to a 69 and have it be a dog but if your saying an sxe will spool like a box 66 then it shouldn't be bad. In my opion a box 66 will walk all over this ii 66 in everyway not very impressed with it

Exactly ^^^^ No way you should be able to smoke much at all with that turbo setup and 60% over injectors.
