Anyone know if Jeremy & Chris Watson collaborate on Chris' SuperMax build? That'd be a nasty team to pair up together on an unprecedented Dmax build!! I thought I remember Chris saying his heads were Wagner but can't remember for sure.

Just read through this thread, noticed a few things:
  • If Wagler's are so good, why haven't more of the reps from the major shops posted in this thread vouching for these heads? (Don't try to justify it by saying they're keeping trade secrets. If these heads are the best, then you bet they're using them, unless they're dissatisfied with them????)
  • OP seems like a troll, that said, a couple people pointed out that the 3.0 class is very competitive and then ask the specs of the OP's build..... Seems like an unreasonable request if remaining competitive is the goal.
  • There is some valuable tech info for the DD community that could be learned here yet there were a few people trying to derail this thread. Please stop, there's already enough diesel forums on the internet with that nonsense. Instead it'd be constructive for the people who do own sets of Wagler's to post flow cfm"s of their Wagler heads so they can be compared to stock numbers. It probably isn't that hard to get that info from Wagler (calling and acting interested in buying a set but not until you see a flow sheet) but it would save everyone else the time for calling.

I have discussed them with mark broviak. He has good bit of experience with them. Problem is, most running them are sled pullers. And you wont get much info from them, nor are they on forums much

Good point, sled pullers won't be very elaborate in saying how they perform, but someone like Mark would be able to attest to their quality and/or the troubles they faced.

I had problems with Jeremy's first set of heads. Jeremy stood behind his product 100% of the time and since I went with his new HIP casting I have not had a single problem. I do not have back to back numbers so I can't help there. There is a reason the top guys run these heads. If there was something better out then these guys would have them. But there is not!! Wagler heads flow a ton, I have the flow sheet on my heads and I'm very impressed.

I know Jermey first hand and we run two sets of his heads, first set did have their issues and I was treated with the best of customer service and was taken care of, but I will say with anyone your attitude with someone goes a long way it is a new product and were all still learning the ins and outs, that being said if you call being a complete DICK then NO you probably will not receive THE TOP QUALLITY SERVICE(as other customer's have in the past)but if you're patient with someone then it goes a long ways.... and as for a warranty on heads when there not run with any coolant then they will crack, but that being said the valve seat issues have been fixed... Id give you his number, but im sure you have it... Jermey has spent countless hours in time and money of his own to help this sport grow you wont find a better guy to deal with

Jeremy has a lot of friends, on this board and off of it. Jeremy is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. It doesn't matter if you come in his shop looking to spend $1k or $50k he treats everyone with the same respect across the board. As far as how much power his heads give you, well lets say you gained 3 hp from adding them but you fattened up your power band 250-500 rpms Think that would be worth it?
True story! Guys like that make it easy to spend money. Very similar attitude as joe or dave from hsp. Truly have a passion for pushing the game further and further. I only got a girdle from jeremy but you would think I got a billet block. Without ever meeting him before he let me leave a pallet of transmissions and turbos to be picked up and shipped out of state. I will definitely be doing more business with him.

We had issues with exhaust valve seats distorting and burning up on the first set of wagler heads. Wagler took care of everything free of charge. They now have one piece steal combustion faces pressed in for each cylinder. Upon disassembly over the winter they were in better shape than any heads I have ever seen used for sled pulling. I think wagler has a great product and customer service!

Do your recall which cylinder? I have low compression on each head left cylinder

All eight were burnt up. 5678 were the worst leading me to believe coolant flow may have played a roll in the distortion. These heads were reverse cooled with the coolant entering the heads at the front.

Do you really think Wagler would have so many people supporting them if they made the customer pay twice for a set of heads? It has already been said several times that Jeremy stands behind his products and is awesome to work with. Not once do I see a post of someone talking bad on wagler, that says something.

No bash on Jeremy at ALL!!!!!!!!!!! I like Jeremy alot, But are you kidding me? there are nut swingers for every shop/builder somewhere. I remember when a few big name shops sold & fabbed JUNK & people still bought it & ranted how good they were. Jeremy is awesome for sure & I'm also not implying anybody in this thread is nut swinging either.
If you don't believe me I'll give examples: Midwest Diesel with Landon & ATS.
Maybe he should call Longhorn Fab
But what do I know?

To the OP, Call Jeremy, Call Mark & Call Guy. You will not get what you are looking for from any of us sled guys
