Looks like it is starting to bend you spring compresser. Did you find any other surprises?

What in the holy hell was that guy thinking? Was he another one of those idiots who think an Allison is simply a "shift kit" away from holding 600hp?

I can tell you this; if he revs that thing cold, something will break. The stock spring with 2 shims will coil bind. That means the pr valve will not lift off its seat at start up and block converter flow. 3 shims and something bad will happen.
I will bet the pressure at idle is over 300psi and will rise with throttle angle to well over 500+psi at 3200rpm. The converter will go into melt down.
Be carefull guys as to who builds your trans.

Bet that was stiff to screw in get the pin out lol. Is your spring in there also or a factory spring?

That's a factory spring. My friend Nathan pulled this picture off of fb. Guess the customer had problems with the trans and was told he was abusing it.

I went and found the original facebook post! I remember it had who "built" the trans but its not on there i guess now. I seriously want to know who bui...assembled it..lol..

EDIT: According to the original post the trans was brought in due to "the pump leaking". thread died real quick.
