Right now his emphasis is on getting a body cast off. Was in a bad crash last month with a customer. Look for the gopro video soon..

He is interested in diesel market. Just not had many calls for his parts. There is a pair of these on a powerstroke he told me. Also suggest i run quick spool valves on them...

Doing a final mock up, found the Banks marine intake doesn't play well with accessories. I can understand no need for AC pump on a boat, but not even the alternator bracket works...

Anyone need mounts in blueberry powder coat, I have two sets now. :(

Are you able to fabricate an alternator bracket that mounts at the power steering pump location?

I thought about that. Here were the best alternative examples I can find online. However the mounting options for the raw seawater pump eliminates putting everything on drivers side and keeping the single belt. Both engines will run a PS pump, so I gotta go with the Banks example.

Being my turbos will be in the back, think there is enough room to move that alternator up a couple inches and toss a tension pulley in there somewhere. Looking at some smaller alternator options too.

Snapped a picture of Hawk's pump setup for ref, since he's running same unit.

The banks one looks good. I can't see the second one working too well with such little belt contact on the pully

Received the upper covers from CNC, and test fitting looks good. We put bosses on each end for crankcase vents since I wasn't sure of which we wanted to use.

Atmospheric venting is ok, but you get that smell of oil inside the boat. So going with pair of MANN oil separators with drain back. Then vent into turbos.

Now out to powdercoat. If anyone's interested, I can run some more of these off pretty affordably now. Lettering can be changed also.

Picked up the valve covers today from powdercoat. What y'all think of the color combination?

Looks great

How did you keep the powder coat out of the grooves? Or did you remachine it?

Why do I keep doing this?

Its blue, its Duramax....what more can one ask? They look great!

I always wished someone had made neat aftermarket dress-up parts like that for the LB7. But no....

Thanks guys. It's hard to imagine what that idea would look like way back when I posted it several pages ago.

My powdercoat guy wasn't real interested in my vision... All he said was, "why didn't you have me do those covers before machining all the grooves?" And "ain't no way I'm masking off all those letters." So we compromised on that and he did a color flip around the lettering. Which I actually like better than what I had planned.

Tom, by time this is done I should be able to put a nice dress up kit together for any model. Spent all the last week laying out new accessory and electronics bracket mounts, which meant locating every major hole on the front of the engine.
