Get rid of any sharp bends if there are any.
There are MUCH cheaper options out there for billet compressor wheels than batmo stuff.
I'm will be trying a billet 6 blade 75mm drop in wheel in a s475 on a 12.7 detroit on my brother's W900 by this weekend, I will share my thoughts and experience afterwards... I plan to try one in a twinned LLY configuration.
I read you still have stock injectors if so i would have the injectors over sized and retuned and go from there
I know I could do that, but as I said I'm trying to pull everything I can out of my setup before adding injectors. A couple things concern me about injectors, one is the fact that I will have the ability to create more hp and I will want to maximize that ability which would be the end of my stock motor. Secondly injector longevity. I'm a firm believe that factory stuff just last longer and works than something that been tampered with by the aftermarket. Third is economy. I saw a thread a while back where some guys were talking about how to tune larger injectors for economy and were having no such luck. I really enjoy my 18-19mpg (hand calculated) averages, and if I feel like a grandpa I can pull 20 or better.
Any one have some torque specs for the compressor wheel? Are the threads left or right hand?
