Very nice Josh, I know you have been excited about this for a while. I like both of your green's. It looks kinda weird at first, but it grows on you. Especially on a competition truck! It makes everybody look at the color, and keeps eyes away from the secret squirl stuff:D

Sorry guys, the truck has been parked in the shop for over a year, and it is filthy. I'm not posting pics of it until I get it all together and get it washed.

I'm hoping I can have it running by the weekend of the 13th, but that all depends on if I have all my parts. Injectors are the only unknown, but I'm waiting on them to install the twins.

Thanks Russ, I wanted a color that would pop and draw people's attention, and I really like the green color I ended up with. I have a couple of ideas on how to incorporate the color on the outside of the truck. I just wish I knew how to use photoshop so I could see what it would look like.

Nice Josh.... sounds like we may have a similar build!

Did you go stock heads? How big of injectors are you doing? Small turbo?
Heads are stock with the exception of SoCal springs and retainers. Injectors will be 80%. Small turbo is the same as yours. Which cam did you use?

Ya, I had 40%, but I figured if I was going to have all that air available, I might as well get them opened up a bit more. Your cam is probably the same as mine.

About time you got that thing together. Whose injectors are you going with? I'd to say I love the color, but in the pictures it looks almost exactly the same as what they painted the inside bulkheads of submarines. Color was supposed to keep you calm, obviously didn't work on me.:D

Don is doing my injectors again. It was quite a bit cheaper the second time around.

Seems like I might have heard about them (Ben) :spit:

One word: Painful lesson

wait a minute 1  2
1 was the stock motor lost a piston.

2 was built motor bent a rod.

The lesson was both painful and expensive... :(

that must have been rough Josh:eek: IIRC you had a great build the first time around EXCEPT with Nicky boys rods:( I can't believe you haven't driven your truck for a year? that sucks
