A 363 or 364.5 and a 475 or 480 is what we will be trying on my LML after playing with the stock/475 setup.

Your not far off on my thinking Zak
I’m going over 1000rwhp (ideally 1200) and on 100 overs, I’m gunna need a lot of air. 88 primary may be too small but I’d like to see where it and a 68-69mm in the valley take it. I’m a little afraid a drop in 68 ihi on stock cartridge is a recipe for snapped shafts but I’ve got a few calls in for opinions. I figure if I can get the stock size ihi on the 83 to around 900ish or more, the 88 and 68/69 ought to get my goal without overdriving the hell out of them
Would a 68/72 stg2r and a 5 blade 485 not hit 4 digits with 100 overs?

72r would hit 1000 but to get to around 1200, I’d need more fuel to drive it harder. I’d rather have the 88 on top either direction though and maybe even run the 1.15 ar.
Like I said, I got a few calls out there I waiting to hear back on and go from there. Valley charger will determined what/if twin kit I’ll be after. mark is one I’ll be picking his brain on between 68 or 72 on his chargers
Stock heads and cam? <— that will be a major limiter
I would be impressed to see a s488/s472 combo make over 1200hp. I just tried that set up and hated it. Would love to see some track mph to confirm hp. A s400 as a single will make way more power then in a twin set up.
That was on Danville's engine dyno, they claim there is still some power left in it.
I'm running stock heads with nothing but springs. I do have a 6480AF tho. Dumb question, why a stock cam? No budget or just don't want to change it?
If you're going for 4-digit power, I really think you would be better off going to an S400/S400 setup. I really like Richard's 472/491 setup. I was shocked to see his drive pressure was actually lower than boost pressure at peak power. It did start to creep up a little at 4000+ RPM, but I think the highest we saw at DPC was around 120 PSI drive with a peak boost of around 95. How much are you really going to be using it for tow duties anyway once you get your new L5P?
Keep in mind, a very simple way to make 1000hp is a 366/480 with 100%s. Lots of people have done it and still tows decent and is reliable. Drives nice as well
