Unless you must run in a stock charger class, the PPE GT4094 and HTT Promax are doing very well and they are in the same price range. Call me for a quote if interested.

But a GT4202 will rock your world.

Ill have to give ya a call about that GT4202. Im definitely interested it.Out of curiosity hows it sound, i know its not as loud as a cheetah but is it noticeable(that may be a stupid question :D)? Would you rather me call you or PM you about it?

The GT4202 is a pretty serious charger. While it is streetable unladen, towing won't like any RPM under 2000. You will need to move all shift points up. If you put dual fuelers on it, you will bend your rods if you do not "de-torque" the tuning. Casper ran 10.83 with the PPE 4202R on fuel-only with dual CP3's on a detorqued tune.

Very, very few will need a bigger charger.

The II Silver Bullet is identical to the HTT Promax without the stainless housing. The stainless housing option on the HTT will improve power about 20-50rwhp depending on fuel available.

You live close to me and Jewell right? I should be getting the monster back in a week or two to repair the oil return pipe-call me and you can come by and check it out.

I would argue a Industrial Injection silverbullet 66. handles every 4094 i have seen at the track quite easily. there aren't that many 66's around though. They are also quite a bit cheaper i believe.

The 4094 is bigger so that statement doesn't really mean much... tuning also plays a role in how fast things are. .

Pat, does the HTT have the 74mm wheel. The housing is stainless on the 66, at least mine is.

Wow sounds like thats a pretty serious charger. Id like to only have to buy it once so i may end up going with this one if it isnt too expensive. Eventually ill have to do a small motor build. How much would a basic motor build cost and what would you suggest upgrading?

from what i have found through this site and personal research figure 7000 -15000 depending on what you choose 10k is a safe figure ( prob a little high )just for a motor that will hold the power no go fast upgrades other than mayber a better cam . there is a thread on this site related to how much others have spent on there builds.

Well i guess ill plan for around 10K then. With that much in the motor is it good for holding 700Hp reliably?

yes but as the power grows there are no garentee's as i edited 10k might be a touch high for a shortblock but depends on if you do the build yourself . better to plan al ittle high then be short on cash . i hope i can build mine next winter . here is the thread on build costs http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9074&highlight=build+cost

I had 32,000 miles on my 06 LBZ before blowing it,single cp3 stock sticks, 17,000 miles with the 4094 on.to stay in the 10k on the motor build you will have to do alot of the work yourself. If you do a 4202 now you better just start looking for a motor to build it will not last long. What all are you wanting to do with your truck, once you past a point you will not be able to tow heavy loads and really use the truck like it is stock.Think what you really want in the long run.
