I have a really nice ball bearing 4508R that would work really nice...it's virtually new. You should buy it...:D I also have a new PPE pedestal.

Your talking Japanese there to me. Plus it would be closer to tax time for these turbo upgrades. just gathering ideas. I just like the borgs because of there dirt floor prices lol

So if i drop a s475 in the valley as a single. And I'm running it just basically at the track and don't care about spool just peak performance at 3k to 4k. Would a t4 1.10 87tw be my best bet? I'm definitely gearing it for the top end so I don't wanna get choked down by a tight ar.

the wheel is more of a factor than the .9-1.1 housings in that range of RPM. plus the fact you are not running alot of nitrous. id go with the 1.0 or .9 personally to make sure you have the best chance at staying on the charger at launch. if it works, its easy to change to a larger housing if drive pressure is getting too high in the upper RPM range for your liking.

what you need to watch is how much boost you can get the fixed vane to build with no load and if you can keep boost over 10-12 psi after launching. when you start falling into the mid to low teens, the turbo starts dropping off quick. with the fuel you are going to run, i think you will be good.

I'm starting to realize I can get a box s480 setup for twins cheaper than a 75 setup to be a single charger.i do want to keep a single charger if possible. If a 1.0 housing won't. Choke down in the high rpms I think it will be fine. And like before if it won't launch at 4200 I can always go up to 45 or 4600 lol it doesn't scare me lol. My plate load is higher up there anyway.

Ok I'm starting to lean towards twins now just because of the price difference of the turbos, and now I'm trying to decide where to buy the cheapest box stock borg from. I don't know what danville charges for a s400 stocker but if I buy it from them it saves me 100 in tuning later. What's the power potential of a 75 over stock with dual pumps and 45 over injectors? Would I notice a difference in top end going to an 80mm?

S475/96s are as cheap as your going to find for a primary turbo
You can find s480s for around a grand but they have the basic 63 housing with a thin ass inducer
Or look for a good used s400 on some where like CompD to save you money

How about a smaller, snappier turbo with a quality wastegate and make up the difference with nitrous?

I was gonna just to n20 with a waste gate on the stocker, but seems complicated as I don't let out to shift. unless I just put it on a button. If mark thinks he can get something done then I'm just gonna listen to what he says lol.

Mark is the man, I will be running a cast wheel t4 s475 87 turbine with a 90 ar if all goes to plan. And i will be getting it tuned by danville performance. Shooting for well over stock engine power. Gonna be a fun year, and maybe a short one lmao.
