Is this on the truck that is in your avatar picture? It looks like it has an 05-07 grille. Unless you changed it, you should have a variable vane turbo. If that is the case, I have no idea what you're talking about. There is nothing on those turbos that lets back pressure out other than the EGR valve. If you are talking about the plastic resonator, that will do absolutely nothing for performance.

thanks, thats my "Winter Stance" got the drop keys cranked up high as they can go...CV's are just a hair lower then level. truck itself is right abut level.. maybe .5" nose high


picked up an extra 3-4" ground clearance in the front though....just in time for a blizzard

Yes you will be fine with capping the resonator.
