If video doesn't work. It made an instant 90psi at turbo end of hose. I pulled gauge Off and I now have a 3/8" oil shooting fire hose. I think I have found my solution. Now for a test drive

Must drive you nuts!! Like an itch you can't scratch

I sooo wanr to turn the fuel up on mine.. Which the gt4088r would love and transmission would hate

Spun tires at 70mph then scratched cover and let out. Guess I'll get to rebuild it one last time hopefully

Yeah man sounds good and hope your problems are over.. Don't wanna derail thread but I've got a 468 single now and the other day I had inlet tube off (trying to locate a fuel leak on cp3 but anyway) and checked for play in it and definitely has some up and down slack.. Far as I could tell the fins are not hitting the housing but was just curious if that was normal or what? When you rebuild yours is it totally tight afterwards and should I be worried bout mine you think?

I didn't install my kit because I was slammed with work this past summer and my stocker was going out so needed to do something quick.. So I don't know where oil supply is from or even what size lines... Guess I need to look at it a little closer when I get back around it..

a journal turbo is always going to have up and down movement without oil pressure. it is the in and out movement you need to worry about.

In & out - what would you consider worry sum? any and all movement? I notice i can often pull enough to make a "click" in and out but very minimal movement which i assume is normal?

Any more than a c**t hair (i know, super mathematical right? lol). if there is more than that, you should be seeing the fins get awfully close to the housing and/or touching when push the wheel up or down. My 475 always had just a tag bit of in and out movement. enough to get a faint click after it sat over night and the oil drained off. never got worse though even after another 5k miles

BW suppliers should be able to get you specs for both radial and axial play.
