I have a stock 2012 lml that I'm looking about getting a tuner for. I can still have warranty pretty much as long as it's not deleted. I'm looking into getting and edge evolution cts. Does anyone happen to know about that setup on an undeleted lml or any better route that I could go. I'm not deleting it.

Are you sure, they can go in with a tech 2 and easily see if you have had a tuner on it even if you remove the tune before taking it into the dealer.

That's why I am not deleting it. They are somewhat reasonable on what you've done to the truck. I just want a tuner to get it more. Stock settings are weak. And I also need fuel mileage. It's getting 14.8 stock.

the mpg you get is because of the exhaust not the stock tuning.

and just a tune only will void your warranty, don't let them say it wont because many a man has been screwed by that lie.

also is that 14 mpg city or highway? if its city then it isn't bad at all

Yeah it's city. And I also looked at it mpg wise, if it's going to be that low, I might as wells get a tuner and more power and still have the same mpg.

no the stock airbox actually flows extremely well.

that mileage for city isn't bad, i get 16 city if i take it easy on my truck with no emissions equipment so 14 isn't bad for an LML fully loaded with all the emissions.

I may just put the evolution cts on it and if they decide they are voiding my warranty, I'll just delete everything. Does anyone know of anything about just running that tuner on it undeleted?

I'm sitting at work in an lml doing a forced regen right now. Only warranty work I've done on new ones is emissions related it seems, new def tanks, nox sensors, regens etc. If your going to put any tuner on it at all I'd just delete it.

I bought my 2013 lml in April 2013 and I lasted about 5 months until I got sick of the regen and just deleted everything, best thing to do in my opinion. The regen system is only putting more unwanted stress on the engine ! And if you put a h&s tuner on you can write the ECM and remove the tuner before it goes in the shop, screwed if they plug into the truck but besides that they shouldn't notice! Well besides the 5" straight pipe back from the engine
