Wherever I am working
What I don't get is why Wade gives a shit.

Does he read Tampon reviews and post, "I use pads, so you shouldn't use tampons!!!" ?

Most would just skip over it since it's not their concern either way.

Pat, it's easy to understand. He is trying to protect all from making a very stupid mistake.

socal said they have, so did steve.......for what?

There is no piston problem...you think there is a piston problem because you melt pistons.....

top fuel burns way hotter (EGT's)than diesel and produces way more psi than diesel's ever will, and the run 75psi through huge 2 " ports. and turn wayy more RPM....yet they have no issue

Boost has nothing to do with pistons melting, if anything it should prevent it....

Proper Tuning and parts specs is the answer!!!!!

Why did curtis get his to live @ 300+ mph?
Why did mike wood get all of his land speed stuff to live???
Why does my stuff live??

Yep aluminum pistons

Gas land speed stuff works just fine, even boosted applications, no problems....only you wacked "know it all" diesel guys need steel pistons, yet refuse to find the problem and fix it...

Keep putting baindaids on to cover up the real problems, youll be asking for steel heads soon enough....:roflmao:

Wade, what kid of pistons do you use? how much power do you make? Do you like Chinese food? Have you put your truck on a dyno? What is your favorite holiday? Do you sit down to pee? Who makes your tube chassis? Do you believe in global warming? Do you have a mustache? Who is the best tuner? Have you ever driven your tuck so fast you pooped a little? How do I keep my pistons from cracking? How do you make spaghetti?
Sorry for all the questions, I just want to learn everything about nothing. :)
Ohh one more, do you have a hook up for someone to make me steel heads since I will be needing them in the future? :thumb:
thanks pal.

From what I understand the priceing will be somewhere around the $4,000 dollar range, and that certain someone is talking with Mahle about lighting these up to around what a stock lb7 rod and piston weighs, but a different rod would have to be purchased also.... If they do this....

I agree with you. I talked with malhe at sema, this piston is designed for the 800 horsepower truck that wants to get into it at every stop light. or daily drive.

$4400 dollars would be worth it to me if it meant I didn't break a piston in my expensive motor.

x2. I just spent well in excess of $10k to rebuild after cracking cut and coated stock pistons.

If these are as durable as some are claiming they are, I'd pay the $4400.

Wow... comparing a top fuel car to Mcrat's truck is comparing a donkey to a freaking whale.

Lets see... top fuel motor that runs for about 10 seconds and needs to be rebuilt every pass and a truck that runs a mile or longer for over 45 seconds at full throttle back to back.

That makes sense........................................ I've never seen wade's truck at the diesel nationals here in Indianapolis.
