Interesting... I have considered doing a 4 link to one of our 48' 6 horse trailers. It would be nice to have a kneeling option, draft horses being so tall have a hard time stepping up into and ducking at the same time to clear the trailer opening. Issue is the frame work on the trailer is all aluminum so it would need to be bolted in.... Maybe make an entire assembly and bolt in?

Keep us updated man.

Should have tooken a picture of the basic swing arm setup in the dump trailer I pulled.. Bag was mounted to the axle and you had 3 bushings on the arm 1 on the trailer/axle pivot the other two connecting the arm to the axle..
Engine driven Air compressor setup kits.. They make a set for the dmax..

Suspension style I plan one using on the trailer

Thought about air ride on our gooseneck flatbed, sick of being jiggled to death pulling it empty. I think I'll just get a nicer drop deck for the semi's though and use that more often.

How I fixed my f/r bucking.. I actually ripped a neck because of broke two jam nuts as well.. All I got now is the center of trailer flex where it should have a bridge and doesn't

Is the two extra bolts? Ours has a round 30k coupler with a pin and two jambs.

I just figured the bucking was from spring ride. Have the same thing with some semi trailers but with the long wheelbase air ride truck, air ride cab and air ride seat you don't notice it.

Yep 2 3/4" bolts through the top of the coupler. Lossend the jam but pulled against the trailer. Tighten the jam screw. Drilled both holes tight end the bolts and it hasn't moved.. It was so bad previously the f/r jerking was hard enough to mess with the P2 brake control.. And normal stops on rough roads

Biggest issue I have seen on all of our goosenecks is the neck and coupler are always welder verticle down. There is no weaker or worse weld on the planet and I have seen 4 of our trailers fail from what I think is bucking from being empty on the highway. Our tq tube trailers are the worst buckers while empty, the load max trailers with just swing arm axle, rides the best.

Towing my 656 to the in-laws. I really need to get a gooseneck. It's a pain loading this on that bumper cornpro. It has the axles but the ramps are terrible. Need to build some good ones.
