cruising out to fort worth texas straight out I20.. to deliver these monday.. 800 miles in 3 days...normally thats a 1.5 day haul for me...

picked these up in alvardo TX and deliverd them to weirton WV

climbed this.. to deliver them.. stop and snapped a pic on the way back down.

at 300hp tops im not worried about EGT as much as i am about ECT/OT/tranny temps

9% grades the OT is usually baried shortly into the hill the ECT was about 240* when i got to the top..

That's ECT is going alittle high but I'm not familiar with what is to high for the duramax.

250* is coinsiderd hot above that the engine will derate

One average around 10...as low as 6 pulling grades with the foot into it and 11-12 cruising flat grounds...but I normally run with OD locked out which always shaves a few mpgs due to higher rpms but overall better for tranny and motor. I'm in cali and the trailer speed limit is 55...freakin nanny state! Pulling through nevada fully loaded (18.5k) doing 75 i get a little better mpg...the momentum helps with the load i guess. Cruising at 65 with no trailer I see 21-23 mpg. It's a heavy sucker and pulls a lot of wind drag.
