Towing a couple friends trucks to the dunes over Memorial Day. First time towing heavy with the S468, probably wont do it again but wanted to give it a try

I've put about 2000 miles on the boat trailer in the last month behind the Lml.

Drug an lmm home to do some work on. Love the way this 250 tows. Even pushing it hard with heavier loads than this ECT never goes over 210, EOT never goes over 220 and trans stays around 200. Not too impressive till you take into consideration the fact that I leave it set on the 150hp over stock, 500+rwhp performance tune even while towing.

It's never an issue till you hit steep grades and hot outside temps ;) lmao. It's when you actually have to use that 500hp that you then find the weak points very quickly.

I'm in fl, it was in mid 90s today with about 1000% humidity if that matters haha. No grades, but I made a few wot 0-70 just for grins. I couldn't make it warm up. But I do wonder what it'd do on a 6% grade for a few miles at a time

I know you don't have much to really push the truck but thats not much of a test. When you have to hold speed or accelerate back up to speed on a grade plus your load for minutes at a time, you heat things up quickly. 105 and up in temp also really shows a cooling systems true colors

You ain't kidding. I've got a 34' toy hauler that weighs 12-14k and that thing will get my lmm running warm if I'm not careful on my tow tune. Running 70-75 doesn't help either. I'm really considering putting a different fan clutch on that will turn on sooner
