Truck cuts off at high rpm

Bump. What ended up being the problem? My pull truck is randomly cutting out going down the track. The throttle position goes from 100 to 0 in one frame and everything goes to idle and shuts me down. Trying to figure out what I should do to fix it.

if the throttle is dropping out, and everything else is fine, it's either the tps, wiring/ecm pins, or the ecm.

Sorry guys new to this thread but this is my LLY all over. hits about 2200 rpms then power goes to shit and I have to pull over and turn off the truck. (which of course really really pisses me off) So I flashed ecm to stock, and replacing fpr tomorrow if that doesn't work then I'm lost in the sauce.

Start re-enabling any codes and test enablers that you may have disabled. Went through this with my truck once. It was dropping into limp home mode, but not triggering any codes cause they were disabled. But being as we dont have access to absolutely everything in the ECM, they can still trigger limp modes without showing a code.

Well when mine cuts on and off really fast at 2500 rpm...
In gear, in neutral.. doesnt matter.
No codes period.
Even with a new ECM and no tuning on it, still happens.

Yes its probably an electronic problem... Thanks for telling me..lol

Mine ended up being the throttle position sensor.

Did josh ever find out what mdmax's problem was? He said his rail was 2k off, isnt that something to be concerned about?
