Damn nice numbers..

Dumb question? Is there anyway to get these trucks to hook up on the dyno? I'm sure you've tried about everything just curious.. Slicks bolted on the rear? Lol

Slicks are not a good idea on a dyno.

Best way to maintain traction is to put a strap over a hitch and strap it to the dyno, or to strap it to the frame and have it pull down the truck to the dyno.

Yea I kinda figured that would be sketchy with slicks lol.

Yes sir, it pulls hard in 4wd and never offers to slow down. First time in a while that I hard a truck actual shake the tires on the dyno it was slipping so hard. Comparing it the the truck I did earlier in the week that was twinned I would have to guess this truck is somewhere between 1275-1375hp at the crank. There is a huge difference between the two trucks on how they pull on the big end. The twin truck hits harder out of the hole but this one pulls a lot harder on the big end. I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Wasn't that the point of triples? To help extend out the powerband?

Funny you mention tire shake -- what is this, the "Wade Moody Show"?

I was curious since I have a similar setup that I'm gonna trailer to Mark for tuning as well . I am running 2 Fleece 10mm strokers and 185% over 8 hole Motorsport nozzles and my 72 is a billet non variable vane as well as 14/1 compression. Their are several other differences . It will be interesting to see the difference in performance. I'm hoping for good results it's been a whole year since I took it apart . Awesome numbers by the way !

Yes sir that is definitely the point but it seems like I get asked that question everyday. Was just putting it down on print for everyone to see.

Ouch Tom, that was not very nice...

Competition Automotive Machine in Brandenburg KY did all the machine work and assembled the bottom end, I did the top end. I supplied all the parts. It's a fairly basic build really. Carrillos, Fingers 16.5:1 cast, Socal 3388AF cam, main studs, 625 head studs, Oringed heads, Merchant push rods, Socal Valve Springs, Rocker studs, ATI Damper, BD flexplate, billet inj hold downs.

The rest of the engine side is Exergy 200% Inj, PPE dual stock pumps, Danville 72VGT stg2R, 2xSXE369's, 2 hypergate 45mm gates, All plumbing is HSP, RDL manifolds and up pipes, Banks IC, Airdog 165II with sump. Electric Fans, Limitless all Billet Comp Trans with Limitless Converter, DHD lockup. Thats the bulk of it anyways.

Awesome build man, I'm really glad to see the potential of that VGT hanging out in the valley.

This setup worked out perfect. I picked it up yesterday. It drives so good on the street. Spool is like stock, and big end power is unreal. It never stops pulling. I'm honestly amazed at how well mannered it is with the power potential it has.

Very nice Kyle! Next time you are out to visit Evan let me know. I'd love to meet up and grab a beer then get reckless in Mexico. Maybe not in that order.
