Where are the installed pics at? Im guessing with this crossmember you can no longer use the stock tcase skid plate anymore? Id really rather be able to keep it since I really do use my truck offroad.
You can probably drill and tap holes in it to bolt the skid plate to it, but it would probably be better if there were something flat for it to sit against.

My fabricator (Shawn) is down in Cabo San Lucas this week trying to catch the swine flu

Although I'm not sure I'm going to let him back in the building until after a 4 day quarantine period .

Next time I'll loan him my lungs and liver...That way it'll be impossible for him to get ill;)

Shawn does some very nice work, hopefully there's time to get some color on it before it hits the salt:cool2:

I dont think you will be able to drill and tap for the 4(?) bolts that hold it on. Heres a random pic I had in my photobucket shows how my skidplate goes on. Id want a box section drilled and tapped so I can swap my skid plate over to it. Not tcase protection is the killer for me.:( Or one could be integrated into the new crossmember where I wont need to swap my stock one over to.:D

OK, I put it on. It fits great and took 15 minutes. Pics follow (yes, Casper has dirt and salt everywhere underneath it):

It would be easy to make one out of a piece of plate steel that bolts to the bottom of the torsion bar crossmember and Guy's trans crossmember.

If Im going to pay the money that Im sure this thing is going to cost, I dont want to have to do any modifications at all to it. If I have to rig up a skid plate Ill just wait till I get in my new house and build my own, which would look exactly like theirs but with a skid plate.

I like it and was thinking its something I'd purchase, but realized my traction bar mounts are just a low so the only benefit would be looks. Hmmmmm maybe, we'll see. Any price yet?

What if you mounted your bars to the inside of your frame? You would have to move the mounting points more to the center on the axle, but I think it would clean it up nice.

I think you want the T-Bars to follow the same angle as the driveline so this may not work well.

Or install Caltracs.
