Got like two years or so then I can get a declared value for the car, but until then, drive train..hell the motor will be worth more than the car is

If a gooseneck option was not that far off price wise, is that a better method of towing when compared to a bumper pull? Truck is a SRW, RCLB

I have pretty simple two rail open car trailer, think I paid like $1700-1800? for it. put a $500 winch on it and it has done everythign i ever asked it to.

I think its 16' long, i've put my 67 C-10 on it and loaded correctly, its dead even with the ass end of the trailer. Ive pulled suburbans with it too without issue.

Not "exactly" what you're looking for, but i traded my 32' tandem dually 20K for this (loads changed and didn't need such a beef trailer anymore).

PJ 28' tilt deck (started hauling cars for a dealer) and its sooooo nice to haul cars/trucks on, you don't need a 16K gvw but they make bumper pulls in 16-18' as well. Corvette's fit with ease and no ramps to dick with (if you ever dealt with frozen ramps in the winter, you'll share my appreciation of not having to try and slide them out)

Thats an awesome looking setup, how much did something like that run you?

And as far as buying a trailer goes, are you guys buying em outright, or financing through the manufacturer?

It wasnt my trailer, I borrowed it from one of my co-workers. The tilt worked very well. Very easy to load and unload that RC/LB truck. Have to admit it was a bit unsettling backing off the trailer, though....its a really a strange feeling when the trailer tilts up.

Very well made trailer, pulled smoothly, brakes worked as they should.
