Alright, thanks guys, I am gonna plan the route out tmmr and try to avoid any weigh station roads.
WD bars are mostly helpful in turning situations etc?
For the future, would be it more beneficial to upgrade the receiver or just get a gooseneck?
you should not be going in the weight stations to begin with! that is for comercal vehicles ONLY
gooseneck hands down!!
I know that I shouldn't but I am worried about being hassled. Just trying to avoid all potential issues.
going in IMO is asking for harrassment
Gonna rotate the truck tires tmmr evening, got it detuned back to a level 1, and just gotta check the air filter.
Totally over thinking and over worrying about all this.
This trailer has the wheel net tie downs, prob do all four wheels of each car, then maybe a strap or two as back up.
if you got wheel nets... one on each corner and you will be fine no need for the others
all the major car haulers i pass run them now rarely do you see one with chains from the frame of the vehicle to the semi..

You need both if you are serious about towing and hauling.. Tow beasts don't cost to much it been several years since I baught one, and a good b&w flipper is nice the 5th wheel attachment is a bit cumbersome but very useful
