I am qualified to dispute that statement......
My 2002 LB7 has over 160K miles, turned up HP/TQ since about 7K miles and a 2 micron CAT filter on it since around 10K miles.
Original injectors, perfect balance rates......never had any issues with them.
Since I have both it would be tough to pick, LB7 with a 6 speed would be my first choice.....
Yeah, i'm feelin the same way as you flyinelvis11.. No love for the truck that started the DMAX revolution!!!
He just paid to put injectors in it so I think that is alot of the reason why he wants to trade.
I'm just saying lb7 suck because they really do.... My buddy's lb7 is driving me crazy.. With it's INJECTOR CUPS!!!! So retarded.... I just hate how much trouble the injectors cause plus the head ache
It usually isn't the truck, it is an inanimate object, look at the design first, yes it could be better, then look at who is working on it........just saying a lot of shops can do this job properly in under 8 hours.

LB7's will make as much power and run as well as an LBZ, I know that for a fact because I have both and they run within a 1/10 sec of each other and are similar weights.

i didnt realize what a heated debate this would become haha.. Im going up to look at the truck today for a potential sale. My only concern with keeping the lbz is resale. Arizona or not people still want 4x4, for apparently no reason but it brings my sale value way down in the long run.
This lb7 has potential to be great if I buy it I do not have any aspirations to do my own injectors so maybe that is why I am considering this buy haha.
