Our 01 3500 EC/LB DRW has sport mirrors on it. What year tow mirrors will fit, how hard are they to replace? There are tons of junkyards in the area, I just have to know what to look for.
Thanks. I will check into that.If you want power mirrors you need to stick with 99-02 as 03 they changed the plug for the power mirrors. As far as what will bolt right on, 99-07 classic will work(keep in mind though that in 99-00 there was 2 different body styles available, GMT-400 old body style and the GMT-800 new body style). I think the newer 03-07 mirrors will work if you cut off your old plugs and swap them to the new style mirrors, but not 100% certain on this.
If I can just unbolt the panel, that makes it easier. That's how I did a friend's sebring, just unbolted it so it would hang lose, and shoved my hands in there. The wires are under the plastic cap where the mirror bolts to the door. It should be easy to sway ends over
X2Brand new . . . just get these. I got a pair earlier this year to put on my 02 and love them.
All you have to do is take the triangle piece above the door panel off, disconnect the mirror, and take out 3 nuts. Put the new mirror on and plug it in.

If all your doing is swapping the wire connector, I don't think you will have to pull the door panel off
so is it above or below? The previous pic showed the cable being above. Guess i'll have to pull that corner off.
wish my truck had that connection at the top. I hate pulling the door panels. Its just annoying.
