x100 Glad your both ok !

Dont you know Ben that LSx engines are just too powerful for anything but a GM ?? LOL.

Looking in the GM perf. catalog they have some dry sump oil pans which might help with your clearance issues if a vette pan wont work.

Now you have a new project again ! That is a cool bug.:thumb:

You will come up with any excuse to not work on the convertor unlock switches, won't you? :joker:

Being serious though, Glad you guys are alright. The rear picture really shows how tweaked it is.

Dang Ben...looks like the Beetle could take some abuse. All kidding aside, thank God for the rollbar and 5points you installed for crawling. They saved your lives.

That green VW looks to be a mid-60s vintage. Does that ever take me back in time. My Dad owned 3 Bugs (2 black, one green) when we were little.

Right now im thinking ill rebuild it with a Jeep TJ frame (1997-06 wrangler) and run linked suspension front and rear...jeep frames are a dime a dozen so I might as well ditch the leaf springs.

Glad y'all are ok. Rolling a veh. is no joke. I did & my wife to be & I walked away (actually I helped load it on the wrecker LOL ) and I contribute it to the belts. Maybe there's a specific case every once in a while that would have been better without a belt on, I can guarantee there's way more accidents you'd be better off wearing it than not. I'll play them odds all day everyday!

2 chevy 4x4 drive frames with the front halves welded together, IFS, IRS, and four wheel steer...
