the old precision ML wouldnt do it, id just blow through the converter. only time i could get it to do it was with a lighter load like just my samurai/old flat bed on the back. what i mean is even with a load and that power, it still gets the power to the ground like yours is. wasnt trying to talk down on yours :D. more power doesnt mean it will get to the ground/tires. specially with the loads we are talking about. whole new category there.

im gunna look at doing an air ride hitch.

Yeah, I blow through my ML a lot. The two times I towed 12k it wouldn't even hardly spin the tires where my LLY with the 1057 would blow them off.

I've never had that problem with my ML, mine always coupled very well, towed ALOT with it and it pulled several 1.6x at the track. Locked up very nice in 2nd gear WOT when it was supposed to too. So far it's been my favorite converter for DDing compared to a 1058, 1055, 1056. I'm throwing Evans 1078 in my DD now so I'm excited to try it. I've threw a couple of Goerend Rs in a couple of customers trucks and I was impressed with them, just never ran them in my personal rigs yet.

That's what I'm referring too also. The precision ML.

aaahhh. weird you got that good of performance from it! all the ones i have ridden in blew through the converter pretty bad once over 500rwhp. lighter the truck, the better it did but still would. at the time, it was one of the best converters but since i feel its well behind the curve of whats available now.

That is the opposite of my experience. I have basically a modified ML Precision that is supposedly tighter. I blow through it so badly that if not for my lockbox set to auto every time that I drive, that I would have to pull it out and shit-can it :(

Oh I'm sure it is way behind, why I'm excited to try Evans 1078 by the end of the day today :thumb: I do like the goerend r though that I've put in some trucks.

I hate mine, Caleb at blackout said he didn't care for his with twins, but I figured I'd try one since I was all stock but I don't like it. I mean it does ok if you drive like an asshole all the time, but drive 10-20 miles on back roads or in town and flog on it and it goes retarded. But other than me blowing through it unlocked it's definitely bearable. If I had to do it over I'd have got another suncoast.

I'm kinda stuck with mine because of Suncoast. I had George do my trans and use a Suncoast 777. It was beyond unbearable. Each time the TCC locked it was a smack in the ass. Plus, I could dead floor the truck and it wouldn't move for a solid 1-2 seconds. After I tried to tow lightly with it and the 2nd gear lockup pushed me over the edge, I sent George a barely coherent rant, LOL. He stepped up and yanked it out and put in this modified Precision.

Other than nice light throttle around town manners, it's awful. Ben's box makes it bearable. I wish that I was a few months later with my purchase, so I could have grabbed the 1078, but it wasn't released yet.

IRS... I'm the opposite of what you think. I'm more like a specialist in taxation. In the eyes of the IRS, an EA can handle all matters of tax like a CPA or Tax Atty (Tax returns, Audit representation, etc). I'm not the MANN, I'm the man that helps you try to starve the MANN. LOL
