Running a tune from a buddy. Waiting for Simon to come back home and sit down with him one day and get it fine tuned. It's still a little rough on the shifts and some runs it falls flat on it's face in 3rd gear.

It got quite a bit faster as it cooled down at 9-10 PM. Ran a couple 12.36 runs and two 12.25 runs. Then the very last one at 10PM was the 12.18

I also started launching harder than last weekend. My last run I actually spun all tires off the line. It frekin ripped. Felt very strong off the line.

Egt's hit 1700 around 1/8 mile til the trap. Cookin er pretty good, poor turbo, hopefully it stays together this weekend lol. I'm launching softer tomorrow cuz it's bracket racing, just wanna be consistent

get a video up

dyno numbers are way low for those et's

Using the forum calculator, for the weight and mph the hp is accurate. Surprising none the less, but thats the whole point about weight reduction...you dont need as much hp as a heavier truck to go as fast.

The ET Im not so sure of. The 1/8 split is 11.9x range. I'd bet the sea level track/good track prep had something to do with that.

Sea level makes a big difference. And the track is really nice. They didn't spray any vht but we don't really need that in 4x4. Although I had a little tirespin off the line on my 12.18 run. Launched hard

Just hit 512.8 HP on the dyno

Truck is 6100 lbs.

I think you have more HP:D... Just looked at your dyno sheet. Mustangs read low. They don't work well on diesels from what I have seen.

Edit. There is something wrong I don't think I have seen that much tq.

it also depnds on the calculator that is used. The one that I use that is on nationaldrivetrain.com it shows at that weight and HP level to be about a 12.68 run. Something is amiss with the whole thing because of the dyno sheet as well. I think that KAT is right about the torque figure, that would have to be the world's record for a stock engine Duramax. Still don't know if it is a stock turbo yet.

Even yet a different calculator shows at that weight and mph, the truck would be putting out almost an even 600hp.

I remember that trent's 9.3x run was called off because of a bad time piece. If it's real, congrats Dudgy.

I haven't touched the turbo, injectors, cp3, intercooler, anything like that.

Here's some pics of the engine bay. I wouldn't post in here if i had any of these parts changed for aftermarket. I was really surprised that it ran that fast as well, wasn't expecting to get that close to the record.

Torque isn't accurate, they didn't calculate torque, only horsepower. Everybody ran 2000-3000 torque haha

Congrat's!!

You have figured out the hardest part!!! The first part of the track. That time slip looks just like mine. I don't remember the exact numbers but I also run high 7.60's in the 1/8 at 88 mph. It's hard to make the trucks run the bad half to get the numbers in the 1/4. I run my numbers on a totally stock motor, manifolds, intake everything so i'm sure with your mods you run run faster. Congrat's again and good luck. Jeff
