Coil-overs

Thats what I am leaning towards but dont have the cash to do it at the moment. I am thinking about running a new cross over tube for the support and then remounting my fuel cooler. If I run a straight 2 inch pipe across instead or the curved one I will be fine.

Picked this up today. Got it put on and test drove it. Have a couple of issues I need to work out and get my traction bars remounted. Must have missed a plug in the dash. Have no display, fuel gauge, blower motor and my battery lights on. It rides pretty damn smooth. Definitly need to figure out my exhaust.

It's hard to tell from the pic, but does that driveshaft have a slip joint?

When cash permits get a fuel cell and move the tank to the back....Just a thought if you want to loose wieght.

Question your drive shaft has a slip shaft, Does it need it? I know mine is the same way but my t-case is solid with a flange on the SCS.

Looks great!!

Yes it has one.

Will get more pics later.

i hope you put a slip yoke eliminator in the t-case or swaped t-case for a fixed yoke then or your runnin a big risk of loosing that driveshaft down the road or snapping the ends of the outshaft splines

Mines solid. No slip yoke that goes into trans. It's a 2wd.

What's your thoughts on the fuel cooler? I still want to drive it on the streets.

I keep forgeting your 2wd, Use the stock cooler, Just move it to the back or get a after market if/when you increase the fuel line size.

Whoops, haha. I was trying to look out for you, but I guess you have it covered. I should have known better with the speed and quality at which you are getting this done. Keep up the good work! :thumb:

It's been a lot of learning and researching when I get spare time. It's all these little things that have been the hardest. But you guys have been a lot of help and I apreciate it. I am definitly doing a fuel cell and loosing the torsion set up this winter. Will be easy to mount the lift pump in the bed and have the tank right there.

Ok Guys. Finally got to do some more work on it. Stripped the whole parking brake assembly, spare tire holder, and some small odds and ends.

I do need some help. I am still having electrical issues. I got the radio and blower motor to work. Missed a plug. But I still dont have fuel gauge and my display that shows the miles turns back off when key is in the run position. The battery light is always on. I do have speedo, tach and voltage. THe cluster lights up. What am I missing here?
