Time for a new converter

He's only razzing ya cause you were so thrilled with the DTT trans and he remembers your old posts about how much better they were than every one else.
Back then when the Canadian dollar what only worth .75 cents on your dollar, it was a good option, and the builder did every thing possible to make it work and look after me. The only real issue with it (was a big problem) was the 3-2 down shift. Truck pulling and when I was on it, it shifted great! but sucked for daily driving. I sure some day some of the tech in that trans will be used again. But for now.....I am very happy with Suncoast, and the same builder who build the DTT built it and my motor, and has continued to get me unbelievable customer service. ( Its an 9hr one way drive to his shop for me.)
Dude You dont get it , this guy always brings up drama, I dont have a problem with anyone but when he acts stupid then we do. I only put my rolleyes smily to say "here we go again". He acted stupidly and flicked me off. He has the right to give his opinion but ****, Noing that he is gonna start shit he still posts. Dont post and it over plain and simple!. Its overatedCorrect how dare he speak his opinion! Mike is a Allison trans god IMO but if people don't hear about issues how or why would they fix it?

no DUDE, you dont get it. i want your retarded pony tail wearin ass to go back and read my first post in this thread. tell me what was so dramatic about that. i rated the converters that i have had in MY truck in order from best to worst in my opinion. your the one that started this shit agian with your smartass roll eyes. i didnt say one thing bad about the ml until AFTER you and your boyfriend started jumping my shit again. and now its all my fault again for giving somebody an honest opinion. honestly i dont care what people think of me i just post what i have had experience with. the ml converter i had was a piece of shit. it wouldnt stay locked at all, made noise and i just didnt like it. but since its got the transmission gods name on it, it simply cant be junk, well everyone will find out sooner then later, precision converters are junk. well maybe not in 500hp trucks like yours but you know over here in the trailer park we like to try and play with 4 digits.:thumb:

This is the first post that brought drama into anything. You seem to be the one havin trouble, nobody else. I dont care about who sells, or who likes what converter, its everybodys own opinion and what works best for them. I know what i put them through, and supposedly 2nd and 3rd gear starts is harder on them than anything, well thats what people say anyways. Ive stalled my 1053 to around 3k. If precision sells one they garauntee will stall higher for my application, and take the hard starts, i just might try it next year. But for my application, and a few others, sc seems to work. I told the op what works with my truck, and exactly what i do with it, im not the one saying, oh go put this brand in, it will work, because you have no clue what will work for him, or what wont.

oh here we go with the ... well HIS truck makes more power then yours shit. yeah it does, and if the converter works for him great, but for me it didnt, and for plenty of others it doesnt. and its exactly what rhall said, hp is always overrated to the guy that doesnt have it.:thumb: its alright man, my smallest tune on the dsp5 switch made 500hp so i know what its like to drive around with your kinda power. ide be talking shit too.

Ya 4 years ago none of the options were perfect, Allison's have come a long way...since this thread is officially hijacked...and I've already ordered my converter.....thank you all!
