Time for a new converter

I sent my 1058 to be rebuilt and have the stall speed increased. I told them I was thinking of the 1055 and they sent me a 1053. It says 2600rpm stall on the box. Haven't had a chance to try it still waiting on other parts.
call mike L, im running his trans and converter 1585 horse held good and still going.

Correct how dare he speak his opinion! Mike is a Allison trans god IMO but if people don't hear about issues how or why would they fix it?

Im sure it will be fine, my 1055 lasted the whole season last year of quite a few 11 second passes, and 10 second passes, and a lot of running it on the street too. When we sent it back to turn it into a 1053 this year, they thought i just wanted it refreshed, they called us, and asked us why, cause they said it looked perfect.
