The stator in my SC 1057 let go and destroyed the inside of the TC. I running the MPI small twins, 60% sticks and a LBZ CP3 with the regulator mod. I am going to up the twins and CP3 this winter. But I need a new converter now. I sled pull 3 or 4 times a year, tow in the summer, and drive the balls off the truck the rest of the time. It is not longer my DD, just a fun truck. Suggestions?

1055 gets my vote, i have had a 57, 55 and a ml. the 55 is the best, then 57, the ml is my last choice.

I wasn't bashing the ML, thats what I am getting. I was rolling my eyes at the roll eyes.. Seems that people get pissed when people state their opinion instead of going with the crowd

Thanks for the advice. I want to buy new either way. My 1057 had been refreshed at SC twice over the years. I also pulled the trans and had it check, everything in it was fine.

I have the 1053 in my truck now, it seems to be working great, lockup up is good, and its handled quite a few pulls with a 3rd gear start, im not coming out easy with it either.:D
