Thumping noise coming from intake

Only thing I can think of is the lash must have been adjusted wrong

I would say, Oiling issue and or a miss adjustment of the valve lash.

I wonder if the ports in the rocker rails are plugged up.

Kinda a flip of the coin. You might be able to run the engine with the y bridge removed to see what side. But would be prudent to inspect both anyways

Before repairing the injectors on the cylinder #8, correction was -5. After the repair it became -3.7. In other cylinders the correction is no more than 1.0 . I thought maybe there was an influence. Although I agree, it's worth to inspect both sides. Thank you!
