"thread tags"

Is there any way that we can make it visible to everyone who has edited thread tags? Or at least can the mods see who edited them, and tell us who it was?

To be quite frank, Im a bit irritated about the "MDI for sale" thread. Everyone thinks/assumes it was me who added those stupid immature thread tags, and it wasn't. Ive never edited/made a thread tag in my entire history on this forum...because IMO they are unnecessary to begin with and do not serve any useful purpose...other than to instigate and "indirectly/anonymously" make fun of people when the original person who made the thread tag is too much of a weenie to slam the person in the thread/via PM under their own name.

I really hope the mods/admins can see who last edited the thread tags, so whoever it was can be hung out to dry in public...and so people can stop blaming me for something I did not do.

I can speak for the admins Ben , but as a Moderator I can see who initiated the tags , maybe its different for Rob , Kat or Pat .

I just noticed them for the first time today, I guess that speaks to there usefullness.

I think I can count on one hand, as to how many times tags have been used to their intended purpose.

All other times, its some retarded comment. I don't even look at them anymore. They just give me herpes of the eyes.

Ben talking electronics is kinda like MikeL talking about transmissions. Neither person tolerates fools. Ben knows more about these trucks than most of the techs and engineers at GM, and thats not hyperbole.

After reading that forsale thread, I can see why Ben said what he said. Slammed had no idea what he was talking about, and shouldnt have posted like he knew what that module did. Someone could have got taken for a fair amount of coin. Ben did the forum a favor.

I disagree how someone could have got taken for a fair amount of coin? Why don't you call your local auto parts store and get a price? Im not trying to fight but you make me out to look like i was trying to rip someone off? Go on ebay and watch MDI scanners and you can see for yourself they sell for around $1,500.

He posted a few post above that he is the one who made one of the tags, I think that is why he is involved...he said he did one.

Ok i must of took you the wrong way then. Im just trying to sell something for a friend that i admit i have no F**** clue what it does. I got slammed and don't really feel it was all necessary but that not the point. Pm's with information would of worked so i could have edited my post with correct information. Im not here to misguide people and figured if someone was intending on buying a MDI they would know what the hell it was capable of. Mackin acts like you saved his life because of your responses well that doesn't quite make sense because i don't know one person that would just blow that much money on something without doing a little research beforehand. I should have done some homework before listed that my bad.

You should have asked first what the tool was capable of in the Tools section (or at least looked it up like schulte did) before you posted your ad.

Ben is one of the brightest people I've ever met. Period. He's taught me a lot about GM electronics and drivetrains over the past 7 years.
Like I said, he doesnt tolerate bad/incorrect information anymore. If he corrects a post, best thing to do is say "Thanks" because he just did you a favor.

Yes you are right, i didnt edit any of the original information in the thread it is all still there. And the thing i dont understand is i really never said it will do anything it won't. I said "im not for sure but i think it will" so right there should tell you im not sure what it is capable of. But you are right i should of did my research and i admit that. I just looked and the reason i edited the post was to add at the end that i would take dmax parts for partial trade or whatever. After reading it again i admit i made it sound like a miracle tool and didn't mean it that way but really with the tech2 software and all the other shit you can get there really isnt much it seems this won't do.
