4-6 non torsion bar drop.

and he pulled a few leafs.

even without blocks and all the stock leafs you guys should see how much the pinion angle changes at WOT with a 500-up HP trucks. It would scare the heck out of ya and alot more people would be running traction bars lol :D

I had my caltracs off for grease and adjustment,...my dumbass forgot and rolled into it to pass a mustang and it was all bad news bears..

that said, i need to make up a link from the top of the axle housing to the rearward frame to stop wrap under braking.

you basically will disable the caltracs. it would be like running madmatts bars or what im running.

What if you had regular bars? The only thing I could think of would be a bind some wheres maybe just do a ladder bar and sliders?

what if i ran a 45* angle off the top of the axle housing?

doesnt matter. you completely stoping the differential rotation by that single bar. teh cal tracs need some axle wrap to increase pre-load on the springs. while its very minimal, adding that single bars stops it all together. adding it at 45* would give you weird stoping, starting conditions as well. Anti-squat would be too high

Sent from my iPhone.

Just checked mine the other day and  it looks the same!
I think thats why I feel some vibration lately starting @ around 90mph and up.
Guess its about time to finally install the traction bars I have laying in my shop for quite some time now, before its to late!
What did you end up replacing? The whole shaft and yoke or just the U-Joint? I have to take mine out and inspect everything closer.
